Audio/Visual/whatever…this is my experience lab.
Sounds strange…ya…whatever. I enjoy making things go beep/blip/neeeeraaah. I still find myself torn between traditional western sounds and the just plain weird. The two do not mix well.

So in any case, here is my journal of my tinkering. The ultimate goal is to get a modular together. In the process, I have a lot to learn. Luckily, I graduated with a EE from UCLA/UCSD so I have a good start on the circuit theory.
Effects and the Violin
Ill be adding more to this in a bit. The violin sounds much different through effect pedals than a guitar. Id like to record samples of what the differences are for folks to hear.
Circuit Experiements
This is the most active section. I like to breadboard circuit snippets. This is where where I document what I have built and learned. Ultimately, this will be applied too…..
Modular Synth StaveSynth V1.0
Will be a combination of classic synth modules and my own fang dangled pieces. Its a work in progress, but requires some investigation into various crafts. In the meantime, Ill be honing my skills with a the lunetta style synth:

Ableton
By far, it is the coolest thing I have. I would work for them for cheap based only on their awesomeness! I have a few copies of the Ableton lite that were bundled with other hardware. The Lite versions were free and can be upgraded indefinitely. Obviously, its crippled, but there is still a lot you can do with this package.
