there are 3 basic licks in this one.First we start off with a little more notes…buts its basically the signature for Roll in my sweet babies arms still.
This is important. You dont want to just play a mess of notes. Its not very memorible. I still play the song, I just
go a little wild at the end of the verse.”Roll in my sweet babys arms” di da di da di di ditty ditty di dah.
then
“Roll in my sweet babys arms”…followed by some connecting notes.
The next lick is really a series of double stops that are suitable for backup…but phat sounding for a solo as well.
It still follows the song of course.
The final lick is a double stop riff that you can end just about any G song (4/4) in.

Ok…so its a little raw. I have had The Maxi ISIS XL for a while, but never could get the thing to work. Finally, I downloaded the patches and defraged the drive and it seems to work much better. This was straight into Cool Edit with no tweeking of the sound. Thats my next lesson.
