Here are some hints and stuff from Mark David Manders.
I have been playing with Mark off and on (more on really) for a few months and have had a blast. Several folks at shows have asked for tabs/music. Here are few pieces for you play with.Check out Marks page at www.markdavidmanders.com.
Marks usual fiddler, David Bennett, has some great stuff. It was not hard for me to learn it since we actually play very similar styles (go figure), but Dave has a good sense of hooks and infectious melody lines.

One interesting note that I learned is that the reason they end the fiddle solos with the main hook is so that rest of the band knows when he is coming in. Dave takes a little more of a jam-band attitude when it comes to solos.

You do not have permission to publish or distribute these files….and dont even think of asking for mp3s. Buy the record…trust me…they are good!
