Old Rugged Cross
I used this as a waltz in several fiddle contests. Its pretty much the same as I used to play it back in the contest days.I never did well in picking waltzes…I wrote one and the other was a hymn.
this is the version I grew up playing. Its pretty close, but with a few more swinging notes…syncapation…whatever
you call it. Audio version to follow soon.
