Marks usual fiddler, David Bennett, has some great stuff. It was
not hard for me to learn it since we actually
play very similar styles (go figure), but Dave has a good sense of
hooks and infectious melody lines.
One interesting note that I learned is that the reason they end the
fiddle solos with the main hook is so that rest
of the band knows when he is coming in. Dave takes a little more
of a jam-band attitude when it comes to solos.
You do not have permission to publish or distribute these files....and
dont even think of asking for mp3s. Buy
the record...trust me...they are good!
